The balance of the initiative is being very positive in its first edition, having presented more than 50 projects from multiple regions from Galicia and Spain. Of all of them, the 18 pre-selected proposals defended their project before an Executive Committee during the pitch-day, in which the last 6 participants were selected.
The six projects selected provide innovative solutions to solve the challenges posed by companies in the sector in the areas of digitalization, automation, marketing, traceability and logistics. This initiative aims to fill gaps within the value chain of the sector, mainly related to digitization or Industry 4.0, and generate talent and innovation in the environment of Galicia.
The BFFood, which started on 15 July, is a new challenge for the Muutech team. After a successful passage through the different phases of the Business Factory Auto, vertical of the Galician automotive sector, where we have gained visibility and shown our solutions, especially in the automotive world, now we have the challenge of continuing to improve and grow as we have done so far, in a complete different sector, but with similar needs, learning every day and adapting to the global market and needs, so competitive.
Among the tractor companies, Grupo Nueva Pescanova, Grupo Calvo, Cooperativas Lácteas Unidas (CLUN), Torre de Núñez or Quescrem stand out. In addition, the accelerator has a technical committee with the main Galician universities (University of Vigo, University of Santiago de Compostela and University of A Coruña) and entities such as Agaca, Feuga or Anfaco-Cecopesca.
